Chicken, Duck and Turkey

Our chickens, ducks, and turkeys enjoy a pasture-raised lifestyle, supplemented with high-quality, locally-sourced grain. We raise our broiler chickens in small, intimate flocks of 20-30, rather than in large-scale poultry houses, and we cater to both special orders for local businesses and private customers. To ensure the excellent health of our flock, we participate in the National Poultry Improvement Plan, a voluntary program with the USDA. This involves twice-annual inspections of our premises and regular health checks, including saliva and blood sampling. As a licensed and certified egg and poultry distributor and hatchery, all our chickens are processed at a local WV-state inspected facility.

Beef and Pork

Our cattle and hogs at Dollinger Farm enjoy open spaces and are raised in small numbers, primarily on a diet of grass and finished with grain, without any added hormones or antibiotics. As a small yet growing family farm, we typically process 1-2 beef cattle and 2-4 hogs annually. While customers often order ahead for a 1/2 or 1/4, we make sure to set aside smaller quantities for those who just need a few pounds of ground beef, a roast, or a couple of ribeyes. As a USDA certified meat distributor, we ensure all processing occurs at a local USDA-inspected facility.

Honey

Honey is one of our newer offerings at Dollinger Farm, where we operate a WV-state registered apiary. Our bees primarily draw from maple, clover, and wildflowers, producing a honey that our customers describe as light and not overpowering.

Our honey is available for pickup or delivery, and we're excited to announce that online ordering will be available soon.

All Purpose Seasoning

Whenever my mom visits (Kim's mom) from Pennsylvania, I always whip up some eggs for breakfast. She can't stop raving about how good they are, and I've always believed it's thanks to our chickens' diet of worms, bugs, and vegetation. I make sure to send her home with a dozen, but she insists they don't taste quite the same. The secret? A little shake of a seasoning I've developed over the years. I sent a small packet home with her, and sure enough, it made all the difference! So, the most recent addition to our Dollinger Farm offerings, our All-Purpose Seasoning, isn't technically a product of the farm. It's a blend I've developed right here to enhance the flavor of our eggs, poultry, and meat. And it's not just for those - it's fantastic on fish and vegetables too. I put it on EVERYTHING!
